Great recipes, quality ingredients: a meal kit service you can trust

After struggling with several other meal kit services, we have found a winner with Marley & Spoon. We have plenty of diverse and yummy choices, quality ingredients, and great results every week. We are loving it!

One Bag/One Meal

Food is good and instructions are easy to follow, but we hate your packaging. We would really like to receive our whole meal, except meat, in one bag. Rummaging around looking for items and then not finding them makes the whole experience more frustrating than fun.

Ive been a customer forever ....im…

Ive been a customer forever ....im throwing my hands up..one of the dishes i ordered..Chicken Sausage Skillet Lasagna ..was missing the chicken sausage...needless to say i found this problem when i was going to prepare it..I normally check all the ingredients beforehand..but my husband received the box..cause i was in the hospital..ughhi couldnt prepare this dish..

Quality ingredients and ease of preparation

Besides the obvious convenience and ease of preparation, I choose Marley Spoon/Martha Stewart meals because the ingredients are best quality. The recipes are imaginative and appealing. It’s a good value. We spent more when we ate out.

Pretty good except PORTIONS Small

Pretty good except PORTIONS ARE SO SMALL FOR TWO MEN, we are some thin guys and these meals are just tiny. Love the recipes and all and we even buy a bit more at the grocery store because we know the meals are tiny, I would rather pay more money to get more food

Food great shipping horrible

Good food when you pick what you want.
Recipes good. BUT shipping sucks. Always a day to 2 days late and food can be spoiled.
Mine comes by FedEx. Ready to cancel.

I don't like writing reviews but for…

I don't like writing reviews but for Martha and Marley, I would love to do that. I have been with them for the past two years and have been very impressed. Their products whether meat or vegetables are finely selected. The recipes are easy to follow and the outcome is restaurant quality or even better. The menus are diverse and guaranteed to satisfy every palate. Martha and Marley is a perfect choice for busy women like myself who don't always have time to shop in grocery stores or find recipes online. I highly recommend Martha and Marley!!

The recipes do take more time than I had thought, but are very tasty. I have enjoyed them, thought they were well thought out, an interesting change from my recipes.

Very good ingredients and meal…

Very good ingredients and meal selection. They have sorted out the delivery issues from the past so my boxes arrive as expected every week. I enjoy the cooking experience and not having to find all of the ingredients at the store. My family always feels good after eating these meals so you know the quality is good.

What made you choose Martha & Marley Spoon over similar businesses?

A:

Because of Martha Stewart's name. I thought that quality would be good because Martha Stewart grows and uses organic vegetables and I like her recipes.

They said they had 3-6 fish dishes per week. I specifically said NO shellfish. They have 1 fish item per week and 2 shellfish.

Are there other similar companies to Martha & Marley Spoon that are less expensive or better?

A:

"Home Chef" is so far so good! We got tired of similar taste at Home Chef so I ordered from "Hello Fresh" but they started to deliver old carrots that could bend and didn't snap many times. I was tired to complain so I used my own carrots and terminated this company. We still like Home Chef so we have ordered from them for about a year.

Hello Fresh was pretty good, but sometimes the produce would be marginal, which is why we canceled deliveries in the hot summer months. Each service will vary depending on individuals preferences. My favorite was Home Chef. Reasonably priced, good packaging/delivery, food was good and fresh, recipes good but not too complex.
